We are so grateful and touched by all the cards, flowers, donations, messages, various food parcels and visits we have received.  We would like to thank everyone who has helped support us at this most difficult time of our lives.

Sadly on the morning of Wednesday 19th October 2011 John passed away unexpectedly in his sleep.  The result of the post mortem showed that John died of a dissecting aortic aneurysm, something that nobody could have seen coming.  It was a shock to us all, but we take comfort in knowing that John would have suffered no pain.

This site was John’s website, and just as he would have wanted, it is being used to provide the details for the funeral, celebration of his life and a way for people to share their stories and messages.
